The brand has therefore taken the first steps by replacing regular acrylic with a recycled polyester blend. They have chosen to use a mix of recycled and non-recycled polyester, as 50% is the maximum amount of recycled polyester that can be used before the quality of the fabric is compromised.
Bickley+Mitchell is constantly looking for sustainable yarns and aim to replace regular packaging and trims with recycled alternatives in the coming years. Timeless design and good quality are important to reduce the fashion industry's impact on the environment.
